"I'm happy to provide some comments, having just completed Tom Vilord's Beginners course on Investing/stock market. Great course! Great instructor! I couldn't be more satisfied and the course was exactly if not more than what I wanted. Tom kept a steady pace and packed in a ton of valuable and helpful information. It was a challenge for me to keep up, which meant I often repeated a section and I was always rewinding while in a section.

But that was about me and my learning - I'm an old dog learning a new trick. Two things that might have made the material better for me was (1) regarding US versus Canadian content. I'll be looking for Canadian sites similar to Morningstar and Valueline (for example). And (2) I'd like to know more about the different stock

exchanges, for example what are the differences in content, processes, etc. Also how would the US-Canada characteristic play into this item. How do Canadian exchanges compare to US exchanges? Altogether I thank Tom for his effort and if I take another course I would not hesitate to sign up with Tom."
