Wall Street Value Community with live Sunday Trainings (replays available)

This is my main course. It is a very detailed step by step approach to finding investing ideas, how to analyze those ideas, how to value those stocks, etc.

This is a video course where I teach more advanced topics such as how to easily analyze a financial statement, how to KNOW what price a stock should be trading at and other topics including:

  • The mindset of an investor.  How to think like a business owner
  • Finding opportunities using your personal interests and specialized knowledge.  How to copy the most successful investors on Wall Street and invest in the same stocks they are buying right now.
  • How to interpret an annual and quarterly report, how to find their Moat (competitive advantage)
  • Is the business growing and why it is crucial to look at their Cash flow, book value, sales and sales growth, capital efficiency, financial health, and profit margins.
  • Are they buying back shares?  How to find out if they are and why this is important
  • The Key Ratios I look at before I ever consider buying a stock
  • You will not be successful unless you know what a stock is worth.  This is the holy grail of investing.  You can buy the best company in the history of the world, but if you pay a bad price to buy it you will still lose money.  There is not one singular way to value a stock, so we teach 13 ways to do it and when to use each method
  • Once you know a company is a financially strong business you want to own for the long-term, and you know what it is worth…then we teach you WHEN to buy based on 5 key Technical Analysis indicators.  This will help you time your entries more efficiently, especially when the market is volatile.  This is how you stack all the odds in YOUR favor
  • THE INVESTMENT CHECKLIST…this is worth millions.  This is my personal step-by-step checklist that I use EVERY SINGLE TIME I analyze a stock.  This is what the billionaire hedge fund managers do.  This takes the emotions out of investing and makes your buy/sell/hold decisions based on facts.  More importantly, this is how you make your successes REPEATABLE and how to eliminate mistakes.
  • Risk Management including how to use proper asset allocation, diversification, and proper position sizing for every investment.
  • Managing an existing position.  You now own stock…now what?  This section teaches you what to do once you buy a stock, how to manage the day to day ups and downs, and the criteria we use when it comes time to sell a stock.

We also include several downloadable resources for this course which we call the Value Investing Accelerator Student Toolbox.  This includes:

  • Value Investing Accelerator Course Workbook
  • Value Investing Accelerator Trading Journal
  • The Value Investors Checklist
  • Yahoo Screener video tutorial
  • How to Value a Stock eBook
  • How to Value Dividend Stocks eBook
  • Warren Buffett’s Four Secrets of Value Investing eBook
  • The Four Most Powerful Stock Metrics for Explosive Growth
  • Intrinsic Valuation Excel Spreadsheet
  • All of these can be given away as lead magnets

What People Are Saying:

"This course definitely deserves a five star. Why? First, it's straight to the point, it's packed with concentrated very useful information, well-structured, no "bla bla", no annoying ads. I wanted to learn about investing as a beginner and I found more than I expected. Second, Tom is passionate about the subject, down-to-earth, approachable and it does make a difference as well. Third, there are really lots of useful resources, links and tips. It's called a Guide and it's The Guide indeed. Highly recommended. And appreciated, Thank you, Tom!"
-  Anna Demina

"Very easy to understand, very down to earth. Clearly, Tom is trying to add as much value as possible to the course and it shows."
-  Ariel Joshua Inácio

"I really enjoyed this course. It filled in a lot of gaps in my understanding of trading stocks. I have bought and sold stocks before but never really understood what I was doing. When I first started watching the course I thought it was too basic. However, after getting past the super basic stuff this course filled in a lot of information that I was missing. As of this point I now feel that I have a better understanding of when to get into and out of a position. That is super helpful. That alone makes this course worth taking. I highly recommend this course if you are unsure when you are supposed to buy and sell."

- Hazem Bazrbachi

"I am halfway through the course so far and I have learned so much. I am getting a very good idea of what interests me now and it is exciting! Tom provides an awesome beginner course!"
- Matthew Lawrence Gray

"I'm happy to provide some comments, having just completed Tom Vilord's Beginners course on Investing/stock market. Great course! Great instructor! I couldn't be more satisfied and the course was exactly if not more than what I wanted. Tom kept a steady pace and packed in a ton of valuable and helpful information. It was a challenge for me to keep up, which meant I often repeated a section and I was always rewinding while in a section.

But that was about me and my learning - I'm an old dog learning a new trick. Two things that might have made the material better for me was (1) regarding US versus Canadian content. I'll be looking for Canadian sites similar to Morningstar and Valueline (for example). And (2) I'd like to know more about the different stock exchanges, for example what are the differences in content, processes, etc. Also how would the US-Canada characteristic play into this item.

How do Canadian exchanges compare to US exchanges? Altogether I thank Tom for his effort and if I take another course I would not hesitate to sign up with Tom. "

"I found Tom very informative and the resources he gives throughout this course are all very useful! He also speaks in an attentive and clear way so he kept my attention and I was able to follow almost everything he taught, which says a lot coming from a girl who knew very little about the stock market before this course! I plan on rewatching some of the lessons that I still don't fully understand but I know the information is there so thanks Tom!."
- Jennifer Tuley

"I cannot recommend Tom's course enough. Seriously. I have gotten at least three other people to buy it! Tom arms you with the fundamentals. I took this course and coupled it with reading The Intelligent Investor and Rich Dad Poor Dad. Tom's Beginners Guide to Investing gives you real life practice and tips on how to apply these conceptual ideas from Benjamin Graham and Robert Kiyosaki, respectively. Thanks Tom!"
